Anti-ATP2A1 (SERCA1) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Sarcoplasmic/endoplasmic reticulum calcium ATPase 1 (SERCA1) is an enzyme that is encoded by the ATP2A1 gene in human. ATP2A1 catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled with the translocation of calcium from the cytosol to the endoplasmic reticulum lumen. Mutations in this gene cause some autosomal recessive forms of Brody disease, characterized by increasing impairment of muscular relaxation during exercise.
