Anti-CCR3 (CD193) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from human and rodent tissues.
Chemokines and their receptors mediated signal transduction are critical for the recruitment of effector immune cells to the site of inflammation. C-C chemokine receptor type 3 (CCR3) is a member of family 1 of the G protein-coupled receptors, which is encoded by the CCR3 gene in human. CCR3 is highly expressed in eosinophils and basophils, and is also detected in TH1 and TH2 cells, as well as in airway epithelial cells. This receptor may contribute to the accumulation and activation of eosinophils and other inflammatory cells in the allergic airway.
