Anti-Centrin-1 antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Centrin-1 (CETN1) is encoded by the CETN1 gene in human. It belongs to the Centrin family of proteins. Centrin-1 plays important roles in the determination of centrosome position and segregation, and in the process of microtubule severing during the cell cycle. Centrin-1 is localized to the centrosome of interphase cells, and redistributes to the region of the spindle poles during mitosis.
