Anti-CEP170 (KIAA0470) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Centrosomal protein 170kDa, also known as CEP170, is encoded by the CEP170 gene in human. During interphase, CEP170 localizes to the sub-distal appendages of mature centrioles. During mitosis, CEP170 associates with spindle microtubules near the centrosomes. CEP170 interacts with and is phosphorylated by polo-like kinase 1, and functions in maintaining microtubule organization and cell morphology.
