Anti-CEP41 (TSGA14) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Centrosomal protein of 41 kDa (CEP41), also known as TSGA14, is encoded by the CEP41 gene in human. CEP41 is a centrosomal and microtubule-binding protein with two coiled-coil domains and a rhodanese domain. It is localized to centrioles and cilia in the retina. Mutations in this gene have been associated with Joubert Syndrome 15, an autosomal recessive ciliopathy and neurological disorder.
