Anti-ER alpha (ESR1 or NR3A1) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from human and rodent tissues.
Estrogen receptor alpha (ERα), also known as NR3A1 (nuclear receptor subfamily 3, group A, member 1) or ESR1 (EStrogen Receptor 1), is one of two main types of estrogen receptor, a nuclear receptor that is activated by the sex hormone estrogen. ERα is encoded by the ESR1 gene in human. ERα regulates the transcription of many estrogen-inducible genes that play a role in growth, metabolism, sexual development, and gestation. ERα also plays a key role in breast cancer, endometrial cancer, and osteoporosis.
