Anti-FGFR2 (CD332) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Fibroblast growth factor receptor 2 (FGFR2), also known CD332, is a receptor tyrosine kinase encoded by the FGFR2 gene in human. FGFR2 functions as the receptor for fibroblast growth factors (FGF). FGFR2 consists in an extracellular region, composed of three immunoglobulin-like domains, a single hydrophobic membrane-spanning domain and a cytoplasmic tyrosine kinase domain.
FGFR2 has two naturally occurring isoforms, FGFR2IIIb and FGFR2IIIc, created by splicing of the third immunoglobulin-like domain in the extracellular region. This antibody is able to bind to both isoforms.
