Anti-GLUT3 (SLC2A3) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent tissues.
Glucose transporter 3 (or GLUT3), also known as solute carrier family 2, facilitated glucose transporter member 3 (SLC2A3), is a glucose transporter that permits the transport of glucose across the cell membrane. GLUT3 is encoded by the Slc2a3 gene in human. GLUT3 has a higher affinity for glucose than other glucose transporters.
Like all GLUT proteins, the structure of GLUT3 protein allows it to transport glucose across the cell membrane. GLUT3 is often found upregulated in cancerous tissues.
