Anti-GR (NR3C1) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from human and rodent tissues.
The glucocorticoid receptor (GR), also known as NR3C1 (nuclear receptor subfamily 3, group C, member 1), is the receptor protein that is encoded by the NR3C1 gene in human. GR binds to cortisol and other glucocorticoids. This receptor protein is typically found in the cytoplasm, but upon ligand binding, is transported into the nucleus, where it functions as a transcriptional factor. It is involved in inflammatory responses, cellular proliferation, and differentiation in target tissues.
