Anti-IFT81 antibody is validated on mouse tissue and can be used for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Intraflagellar transport protein 81 homologue (IFT81), is encoded by the IFT81 gene in human. Intraflagellar transport (IFT), in which molecular motors and IFT particle proteins participate, is very important in assembling and maintaining the motile cilia.
IFT81 is involved in transport of tubulin within the primary cilium. Mutations in this gene causes short-rib thoracic dysplasia 19 with or without polydactyly (OMIM 617895).
