LIFR, also known as CD118 (Cluster of Differentiation 118), is a receptor protein for leukemia inhibitory factor that is encoded by the LIFR gene in human. LIFR can interact with glycoprotein 130. LIFR has been identified as a breast cancer metastasis suppressor that functions through the Hippo-YAP pathway.

Mutations in this gene cause Schwartz-Jampel syndrome type 2, a disease belonging to the group of the bent-bone dysplasias.
