Anti-P-Cadherin (Cadherin-3 or CDH3) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Cadherin-3, also known as P-Cadherin, is a cadherin protein that is encoded by the CDH3 gene in human. Cadherin-3 is a calcium-dependent cell-cell adhesion glycoprotein composed of five extracellular cadherin repeats, a transmembrane region and a highly conserved cytoplasmic tail.
Cadherin-3 was first described as a cadherin molecule most abundant in the developing mouse placenta – hence “P-cadherin”.
