Anti-Protocadherin-15 (PCDH15 or CDHR15 or USH1F or DFNB23) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent tissues.
Protocadherin-15 is a cadherin protein encoded by the PCDH15 gene in human. Protocadherin-15 belongs to the protocadherin subfamily, which is a membrane protein found at cell-cell boundaries. Protocadherin-15 plays an essential role in the maintenance of normal retinal and cochlear function. Mutations in this gene result in hearing loss (DFNB23) and Usher Syndrome Type IF (USH1F).
