Protocadherin-8 is a cadherin protein encoded by the PCDH8 gene in human. Protocadherin-8 belongs to the protocadherin subfamily, which is a membrane protein found at cell-cell boundaries. Protocadherin-8 protein includes an extracelllular domain, containing 6 cadherin-like motifs, a transmembrane domain and a C-terminal cytoplasmic domain.
