Anti-SCN1A (Nav1.1) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Nav1.1, also known as sodium voltage-gated channel alpha subunit 1 (SCN1A), is a protein that is encoded by the SCN1A gene in human. Each Nav channel is composed of a large pore-forming, glycosylated alpha subunit and two smaller beta subunits. Nav1.1 has four homologous domains, each of which contains six transmembrane regions. Allelic variants of this gene are associated with generalized epilepsy with febrile seizures and epileptic encephalopathy.
