Anti-Trpm7 antibody is validated on mouse tissue and can be used for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily M member 7 (Trpm7) is a magnesium channel protein that is encoded by the TRPM7 gene in human.
Trpm7 is both an ion channel and a serine/threonine protein kinase. The kinase activity is essential for the ion channel function, which serves to increase intracellular calcium levels and to help regulating magnesium homeostasis. Trpm7 is involved in cytoskeletal organization, cell adhesion, cell migration and organogenesis.
Mutations in TRPM7 have been associated with magnesium deficiency in human microvascular endothelial cells.
