Anti-Filamin B (FLNB) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Actin-binding protein, or filamin, is a 280-kD protein that crosslinks actin filaments into orthogonal networks in cortical cytoplasm and participates in the anchoring of membrane proteins for the actin cytoskeleton. Filamin beta (FLNB), also known as Filamin B or truncated actin binding protein 278 homolog, is encoded by the FLNB gene in human.
Mutations in this gene have been linked to several diseases: atelosteogenesis type 1 and type 3; boomerang dysplasia; autosomal dominant Larsen syndrome; and spondylocarpotarsal synostosis syndrome.
