Anti-Talin-1 (TLN1) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Talin is a high-molecular-weight cytoskeletal protein concentrated at regions of cell–substratum contact and, in lymphocytes, at cell–cell contacts. Talin functions to mediate cell-cell adhesion via the linkage of integrins to the actin cytoskeleton and in the activation of integrins.
Talin-1 is a cytoskeletal protein that is encoded by the TLN1 gene in human. In patients with heart failure, talin-1 expression in cardiomyocytes is increased relative to control cells.
