Anti-ATP2A2 (SERCA2) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Sarcoplasmic/endoplasmic reticulum calcium ATPase 2 (SERCA2) is an ATPase that is encoded by the ATP2A2 gene in human. ATP2A2 catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled with the translocation of calcium from the cytosol into the endoplasmic reticulum lumen. Mutations in this gene cause Darier-White disease, also known as keratosis follicularis, an autosomal dominant skin disorder characterized by loss of adhesion between epidermal cells and abnormal keratinization.
