Anti-Caspase-2 (CASP2 or NEDD2) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Caspase-2 is a cysteine-aspartic acid protease that is encoded by the CASP2 gene in human. Caspase-2 is produced as a zymogen that can then be cleaved into 18 kDa (p18) and 13 kDa (p13) subunits that become part of the active enzyme. Caspase-2 plays important roles in stress-induced cell death pathways, cell cycle maintenance, and the suppression of tumorigenesis.
