Anti-CCR5 (CD195) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from human and rodent tissues.
Chemokines and their receptors mediated signal transduction are critical for the recruitment of effector immune cells to the site of inflammation. C-C chemokine receptor type 5 (CCR5) is a member of the beta chemokine receptor family, which is encoded by the CCR5 gene in human. CCR5 is predominantly expressed on T cells, macrophages, dendritic cells, eosinophils, microglia and a subpopulation of either breast or prostate cancer cells. The expression of CCR5 is selectively induced during the cancer transformation process but is not expressed in normal breast or prostate epithelial cells.
