Anti-Claudin-7 (CLDN7) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and can be used for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Claudin-7 is a protein that is encoded by the CLDN7 gene in human. Claudin-7 belongs to the Claudin protein superfamily.
Claudins are tetraspan proteins making the tight junction. Claudins have four transmembrane domains, two extracellular loops (ECLs: ECL1 and ECL2), amino- and carboxyl-terminal cytoplasmic domains, and a short cytoplasmic motif.
Claudin-7 is not a classic tight junction protein. It is found in the basolateral membrane of the epithelial cells in the intestines and the kidney.
