Anti-Dystrobrevin alpha (DTNA) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Dystrobrevin alpha belongs to the dystrobrevin subfamily and the dystrophin family. Dystrobrevin alpha is a component of the dystrophin-associated protein complex (DPC). The DPC consists of dystrophin and several integral and peripheral membrane proteins, including dystroglycans, sarcoglycans, syntrophins and alpha- and beta-dystrobrevin. Dystrobrevin alpha is encoded by the DTNA gene in human.
Mutations in the DTNA gene are associated with Ménière’s disease.
