Anti-KDM1A (LSD1) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from human and rodent tissues.
Lysine-specific histone demethylase 1A (LSD1), also known as lysine (K)-specific demethylase 1A (KDM1A), is encoded by the KDM1A gene in human. LSD1 is a flavin-dependent monoamine oxidase, which can demethylate mono- and di-methylated lysines, specifically histone 3, lysines 4 and 9 (H3K4 and H3K9). KDM1A plays an important role in the epigenetic “reprogramming” that occurs during early developmental stages. Deletion of the KDM1A gene can have detrimental effects on the growth and differentiation of embryonic stem cells.
