Anti-Nectin-2 (HVEB or CD112) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Poliovirus receptor-related 2 (PVRL2), also known as nectin-2 or CD112 (formerly herpesvirus entry mediator B, HVEB), is a member of the Nectin protein family and also a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily (IgSF), which is encoded by the NECTIN2 gene in human. Nectin-2 is a Ca++-independent cell-cell adhesion molecule that has three extracellular immunoglobulin-like loops, a single transmembrane domain, and a cytoplasmic tail. Nectin-2 serves as an entry point for certain mutant strains of herpes simplex virus and pseudorabies virus, and it is involved in cell to cell spreading of these viruses.
