Anti-SCN2A (Nav1.2) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Nav1.2, also known as sodium voltage-gated channel alpha subunit 2 (SCN2A), is a protein that is encoded by the SCN2A gene in human. Nav channels function in the generation and propagation of action potentials in neurons. Each Nav channel is composed of a large pore-forming, glycosylated alpha subunit and two smaller beta subunits. Allelic variants of the SCN2A gene are associated with seizure disorders and autism spectrum disorder.
