Anti-Centrin-2 antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Centrin-2 (CETN2) is encoded by the CETN2 gene in human. It belongs to the Centrin family of proteins and is a structural component of the centrosome. The high level of conservation of Centrin-2 from algae to human and its association with the centrosome suggest that centrin-2 plays a fundamental role in the structure and function of the microtubule-organizing center and the proper duplication and segregation of the centrosome.
