Anti-GABRA6 antibody is validated on mouse tissue and can be used for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Gamma-aminobutyric acid type A (GABA-A) receptor subunit alpha-6 is a protein that is encoded by the GABRA6 gene in human. GABA-A is the receptor protein that, once bound to its ligand, GABA, transmits inhibitory signals in the mammalian brain. GABA-A receptor protein functions as a ligand-gated chloride channel. GABA-A receptors are pentameric, consisting of proteins from several subunit classes: alpha, beta, gamma, delta and rho. Mutations in the GABRA6 gene is associated with the personality trait neuroticism.
