Anti-INF2 antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from human and rodent tissues.
Inverted formin-2 is a formin family protein that is encoded by the INF2 gene in human. INF2 accelerates actin nucleation and elongation by interacting with barbed ends (fast-growing ends) of actin filaments, but also accelerates disassembly of actin through encircling and severing filaments. Mutations in this gene have been associated with focal segmental glomerulosclerosis 5 (FSGS5).
