Anti-MAG (SIGLEC4A) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and can be used for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Myelin-associated glycoprotein (MAG, Siglec-4) is a type 1 transmembrane protein glycoprotein localized in periaxonal Schwann cell and oligodendrocyte membranes, where it plays a role in glial-axonal interactions. MAG is encoded by the MAG gene in human. The extracellular domain of MAG has an extended conformation of five immunoglobulin (Ig) motifs and a homodimeric arrangement involving membrane-proximal motifs Ig4 and Ig5.
