Anti-ROBO1 antibody is validated on mouse tissue and can be used for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Roundabout homolog 1 is a membrane protein that is encoded by the ROBO1 gene in human. Human ROBO1 protein is structurally similar to a Drosophila integral membrane protein that is encoded by the Drosophila roundabout gene (a member of the immunoglobulin gene superfamily). ROBO1 plays an important role in axon guidance during neurogenesis. ROBO1 is activated by SLIT-family proteins, resulting in a repulsive effect on glioma cell guidance in the developing brain.
