Anti-SCRIB (Scribble or SCRIBL) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
SCRIB, also known as Scribble, SCRIBL, or Scribbled homologue, is encoded by the SCRIB gene in human. SCRIB is a scaffold protein involved in cell migration, cell polarity and cell proliferation of epithelial tissues. SCRIB also functions as an important tumor suppressor.
SCRIB contains 16 leucine-rich repeats and 4 PDZ domains. SCRIB is a peripheral protein found in the basolateral membrane of epithelial cells.
SCRIB is expressed by a variety of epithelial organs including the kidney, the liver, the intestine and the lung.
