Anti-Trk-B (NTRK2) (C-terminus) (Cytoplasmic) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Tropomyosin receptor kinase B (Trk-B), also known as neurotrophic tyrosine kinase receptor type 2 (NTRK2), is a protein that is encoded by the NTRK2 gene in human. Trk-B is a membrane-bound receptor that, upon neurotrophin binding, phosphorylates itself and members of the MAPK pathway. Trk-B consists in an extracellular domain, a transmembrane domain and a cytoplasmic domain.
Note that this antibodies was raised against the C-terminal intracellular region of Trk-B protein. A similar product (#06022n) was raised against the N-terminal extracellular region of Trk-B protein.
