Anti-Trpv6 antibody is validated on mouse tissue and can be used for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily V member 6 (Trpv6) is a calcium channel protein that is encoded by the TRPV6 gene in human. Trpv6 protein consists in six transmembrane domains and six ANK repeats.
Trpv6 is highly expressed by the epithelium in the kidney and the intestine, where it plays an important role in the absorption of Ca2+. Expression of Trpv6 is vitamin-D dependent in mice and humans. Trpv6 may interact with Trpv5 in the cell plasma membrane.
