Anti-Calnexin (CANX) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Calnexin (CANX) is a member of the calnexin family of molecular chaperones, which is encoded by the CANX gene in human. Calnexin consists of a large (50 kDa) N-terminal calcium-binding luminal domain, a single transmembrane and a short acidic cytoplasmic tail. Calnexin is a calcium-binding, endoplasmic reticulum (ER)-associated protein that interacts transiently with newly synthesized N-linked glycoproteins, facilitating protein folding and assembly.
