Anti-CELSR3 (CDHF11 or FMI1) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and can be used for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.

Cadherin EGF LAG seven-pass G-type receptor 3 (CELSR3), also known as flamingo homologue 1 (FMI1) or cadherin family member 11 (CDHF11) is encoded by the CELSR3 gene in human.

CELSR3 is a member of the flamingo subfamily, part of the cadherin superfamily. The flamingo subfamily consists of nonclassic-type cadherins, a subpopulation that does not interact with catenins. The flamingo cadherins are located at the plasma membrane and have nine cadherin domains, seven epidermal growth factor-like repeats and two laminin A G-type repeats in their extracellular domains. They also have seven transmembrane domains, a characteristic unique to this subfamily.

Flamingo was originally identified as a Drosophila protein involved in planar cell polarity. Flamingo belongs to the adhesion-GPCR family of proteins. Mammals have three flamingo homologues, CELSR1, CELSR2, and CELSR3. In Drosophila, flamingo mutants have defects including abnormal dendrite branching, outgrowth, and routing.
