Anti-CEP104 antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Centrosomal protein of 104 kDa (CEP104) is encoded by the CEP104 gene in human. CEP104 contains three amino-terminal hydrophobic domains, two glycosylation sites, four cysteine-rich motifs, and two regions with homology to the glutamate receptor ionotropic, NMDA 1 protein. CEP104 is required for the structural integrity of ciliary tip. During ciliogenesis, the encoded protein translocates from the distal tips of the centrioles to the tip of the elongating cilium.
