Anti-CHRNA5 antibody is validated on mouse tissue and can be used for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Cholinergic receptor nicotinic alpha 5 subunit (CHRNA5) is encoded by the CHRNA5 gene in human. Nicotinic acetylcholine receptors are receptor proteins that respond to the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. Nicotinic receptors also respond to drugs such as the agonist nicotine. They are found in the central and peripheral nervous system, muscle, and many other tissues of many organisms.
Defects in the CHRNA5 gene have been linked to susceptibility to lung cancer type 2 (LNCR2).
