Anti-Claudin-10 (CLDN10) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and can be used for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Claudin-10 is a protein that is encoded by the CLDN10 gene in human. Claudin-10 belongs to the Claudin protein superfamily.
Claudins are tetraspan proteins making the tight junction. Claudins have four transmembrane domains, two extracellular loops (ECLs: ECL1 and ECL2), amino- and carboxyl-terminal cytoplasmic domains, and a short cytoplasmic motif.
Claudin-10 has two splicing isoforms: 10a and 10b, which differ in the first transmembrane domain and the first extracellular loop. Claudin-10 is highly expressed by the epithelial cells in the intestines and the kidney.
Note that this antibody will recognize both Claudin-10a and -10b proteins.
