Anti-Claudin-17 (CLDN17) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent tissues.
Claudin-17 is a protein that is encoded by the CLDN17 gene in human. Claudin-17 belongs to the Claudin protein superfamily.
Claudins are tetraspan proteins making the tight junction. Claudins have four transmembrane domains, two extracellular loops (ECLs: ECL1 and ECL2), amino- and carboxyl-terminal cytoplasmic domains, and a short cytoplasmic motif.
Claudin-17 is expressed by the epithelial cells in developing organ systems.
