Anti-Claudin-6 (CLDN6) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and can be used for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Claudin-6 is a protein that is encoded by the CLDN6 gene in human. Claudin-6 belongs to the Claudin protein superfamily.
Claudins are tetraspan proteins making the tight junction. Claudins have four transmembrane domains, two extracellular loops (ECLs: ECL1 and ECL2), amino- and carboxyl-terminal cytoplasmic domains, and a short cytoplasmic motif.
Claudin-6 is a developmental protein. It is not found in adult tissues but only in embryonic tissues.
