Anti-HDAC6 antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from human and rodent tissues.
Histone deacetylase 6 is an enzyme that is encoded by the HDAC6 gene in human. Histone acetylation/deacetylation alters chromosome structure and affects transcription factor access to DNA. HDAC6 belongs to class II of the histone deacetylase/acuc/apha family. In addition to histones, HDAC6 deacetylates other proteins and plays a central role in microtubule-dependent biogenesis of primary cilium by mediating deacetylation of tubulin.
