Anti-IFT80 antibody is validated on mouse tissue and can be used for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Intraflagellar transport protein 80 homologue (IFT80), is encoded by the IFT80 gene in human. Intraflagellar transport (IFT), in which molecular motors and IFT particle proteins participate, is very important in assembling and maintaining the motile cilia.
IFT80 is part of the intraflagellar transport complex B and is necessary for the function of motile and sensory cilia. Defects in this gene cause asphyxiating thoracic dystrophy 2 (ATD2).
