Anti-MAGI1 antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
MAGI1, standing for membrane associated guanylate kinase, WW and PDZ domain containing 1, is encoded by the MAGI1 gene in human. MAGI1 is a member of the membrane-associated guanylate kinase homologue (MAGUK) family. MAGUK proteins participate in the assembly of multiprotein complexes on the inner surface of the plasma membrane at cell-cell junctions.
The MAGI1 protein contains seven PDZ domains, two WW domains and one guanylate kinase-like domain. MAGI1 has been shown to interact with beta-catenin and actinin alpha-4.
