Anti-PLK4 (SAK or STK18) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and can be used for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Polo-like kinase 4 (PLK4), also known as SAK or STK18, is encoded by the PLK4 gene in human. PLK4 is a member of the polo family of serine/threonine protein kinases. PLK4 contains an N-terminal kinase domain and a C-terminal localization domain. When overexpressed, PLK4 is able to induce centrosome amplification through the simultaneous generation of multiple procentrioles adjoining each parental centriole during S phase.
