Anti-Protocadherin-12 (PCDH12 or VE-cadherin-2 or VECAD2) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Protocadherin-12 is a cadherin protein encoded by the PCDH12 gene in human. Protocadherin-12 belongs to the protocadherin subfamily, which is a membrane protein found at cell-cell boundaries. Protocadherin-12 consists of an extracellular domain containing 6 cadherin repeats, a transmembrane domain and a cytoplasmic tail that differs from those of the classical cadherins.
