Anti-Protocadherin-19 (PCDH19 or DEE9 or EFMR) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Protocadherin-19 is a cadherin protein encoded by the PCDH19 gene in human. Protocadherin-19 belongs to the protocadherin subfamily, which is a membrane protein found at cell-cell boundaries. Protocadherin-19 is a calcium-dependent cell-adhesion protein that is primarily expressed in the brain. Mutations in this gene are associated with sporadic infantile epileptic encephalopathy as a female-restricted form of epilepsy (EFMR).
