Anti-PTH1R antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Parathyroid hormone receptor (PTHR), also known as parathyroid hormone 1 receptor (PTH1R), is encoded by the PTH1R gene in human. PTH1R is the classic PTH receptor that can bind to PTH and parathyroid hormone related protein (PTHrP).
The classic PTH receptor is expressed in high levels in the kidney and the bone, where it regulates extracellular calcium homeostasis. PTH1R is a G-protein coupled receptor protein that consists in seven transmembrane domains. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins which activate second messenger systems in different organ systems.
