Anti-SCN3A (Nav1.3) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Nav1.3, also known as sodium voltage-gated channel alpha subunit 3 (SCN3A), is a protein that is encoded by the SCN3A gene in human. Nav channels function in the generation and propagation of action potentials in neurons. Nav1.3 is a large membrane protein with 24 transmembrane domains. Nav1.3 is involved in folding the human cerebral cortex, a process called “gyrification”, and affects speech production certain brain areas.
