Anti-SGLT2 (Slc5a2) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent tissues.
Sodium-dependent glucose cotransporter 2, also known as sodium-glucose linked transporter 2 (SGLT2), is encoded by the SLC5A2 gene in human. SGLT2 transports glucose into cells together with Na+ at a Na+ to glucose coupling ratio of 1:1.
SGLT2 consists in 11 transmembrane domains. SGLT2 is highly expressed by the epithelia in the intestine and the kidney. In the kidney, SGLT2 is predominantly localized to the S1 and S2 segments of the proximal tubule.

A great anti-SGLT2 antibody for WB and IHC. Validated with SGLT2 KO mouse kidney tissues.
